Join Preserving East New York (PENY) on an exploration of the historic and cultural gems that makes this community a vibrant and special place. East New York, together with nearby Cypress Hills, are the first communities to go under the City’s major rezoning plan, which may threaten both of the neighborhood’s historic buildings that PENY believes are worth saving. One special stop on this tour will be the recently-landmarked historic Empire Dairy building with its beautifully ornate facade.
