Janes Walk

SOLD OUT, WAITLIST FULL

Led By Cody Herrmann AND Rebecca Pryor

How are developers reshaping 150 acres of land in Flushing and Willets Point? Join Flushing based artist, Cody Herrmann, and Guardians of Flushing Bay’s Executive Director, Rebecca Pryor, for a 1.75 mile tour moving from Flushing to Willets Point. This tour will highlight current mega-developments planned in the area and related environmental advocacy efforts. Starting in downtown Flushing participants will walk east across Flushing Creek to Willets Point, before heading north to Flushing Bay. Attendees will discuss water quality and land use, while envisioning how climate change will impact new developments in the Flushing Watershed. The tour will end with a view of the sunset from the Flushing Bay promenade.
