The legacy of the Beaux-Arts and the City Beautiful movement may be seen throughout the city, but with particular interest in the downtown streets that harbored waves of immigrants and were known for tenements and pushcarts. Our anchors will be three of the city’s greatest buildings, Hoppin & Koen’s Police Headquarters, McKim, Mead & White’s Bowery Savings Bank, and Carrère & Hastings’s Manhattan Bridge Arch and Colonnade.
