New Chapter for St. Vincent’s Site

The Wall Street Journal today reported that there is an agreement to transform the St. Vincent’s campus into a walk-in emergency facility and luxury apartment complex. MAS has had a long interest in the future of the campus. “MAS is hopeful that the plan for the redevelopment of the St. Vincent’s campus will be carried out in a way that ensures that the hospital buildings will be programmed and provide for health care services for the community,” MAS President Vin Cipolla said. “We are particularly heartened that the plan includes use of the O’Toole building as an emergency care facility. O’Toole is the gateway to one of our city’s most iconic and cherished historic districts.” Read the article here.
