2012 MAS Summit for New YorkThis fall New Yorkers will vote for new city leaders and October also marks one-year since Superstorm Sandy hit our region. The themes for the fourth annual MAS Summit for New York City of Innovation and Leadership will tackle the challenges that New York faces as we continue being a global leader and innovate new ways to ensure our city’s resilience. Please join us for two days of wide-reaching dialogue and dynamic discussions of an agenda for our city’s new leadership. As in years prior we will convene thought leaders and practitioners from New York and from around the globe to delve into the most pressing issues facing the livability and resilience of our city—from the urban economy, to design and infrastructure, planning, arts and culture and more. This two-day convening provides unique opportunities for attendees to network, learn, and exchange ideas. During the Summit, MAS will release its fourth annual Survey on Livability, which reports the perceptions, concerns and experiences of livability by New Yorkers from across the five boroughs. In addition, this year’s MASterworks Awards winners will be celebrated during an evening reception. The MAS Summit for New York City will once again be held at Jazz at Lincoln Center at the Time Warner Center. The dates for this year’s Summit are Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18.
