City-owned and leased properties are managed by several City agencies. 75 percent of these properties are managed by the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS), Department of Education (DOE), Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), and the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). The remaining 25 percent are managed by the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Department of Small Business Services (SBS), Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), New York Police Department (NYPD), and the Fire Department of New York City (FDNY), among others.
