Punks and Poets: An Immersive Audio Walk On The Wild Side

Janes Walk

Led By Henna Wang AND Michael Reynolds, Gesso

From one bohemia to another, our GPS-triggered audio traces the birth of punk from Greenwich Village to the East Village. Many of the original punk hangouts no longer exist, but their impact on the broader cultural landscape is permanent and profound. Hear from guest storytellers like David Godlis and Roberta Bayley. You will need to download the Gesso app to experience this audio walk. Share your adventures with #JanesWalkNYC and tag @gesso.app!
