Learning from Space Station: Imagining a Regenerative New York City

Janes Walk

Led By Patricia Semmler, PEM studio / Space to the People

Wear comfortable shoes—we’ll walk between green public spaces to explore how green and blue infrastructure shapes urban life. Along the way, we’ll visit streets built over ancient rivers and discuss how lessons from closed ecosystems, like those on the International Space Station, can inspire regenerative cities. Through New York City streets real-world examples, we’ll explore how cities can become more resilient, equitable, and in harmony with natural systems.
