NYU’s Brown Building is the site of the 1911 Triangle Fire, dubbed “the fire that changed America.” Today, the building has a steel and stone glass Memorial mounted on its exterior to honor the fire’s victims and the activism it inspired that protects us all to this day. This Jane’s Walk will highlight the features of the Memorial and will share reasons to remember the Triangle Fire.
