This walk starts at Columbus Circle and includes extensive discussion of its history. It then proceeds up Central Park West to the Dakota, discussing significant buildings along the way and also including some discussion of Central Park itself.

Accessibility
There is an accessible subway station at Columbus Circle providing service for the A, B, C, D, and 1 trains. We will most likely discuss the Circle from the meeting spot next to the Maine Monument and then proceed up Central Park West to 72nd. It's all flat and less than a mile.
