Join us at the New York Chinese Scholar’s Garden with a tour and a breathing meditation. Learn about ink wash painting. Engage in meditative practice through the art of shui-mo hua to learn the traditional importance of meditation in Asian history. Learn how scholars’ gardens are designed to support the exploration of self and the balance between the built environment and Nature. Dress for being outdoors.

Accessibility

Participants will be navigating through the garden which includes some rocky and uneven pathways and steps. To reach Snug Harbor the S40 bus from the St George Ferry terminal to Sailor's Snug Harbor gate. Parking is available free of charge on-site.
