We will experience the spoken words of Harlem Legends: James Baldwin, Paul Robeson, Herbert Harrison, Zora Neale Hurston, Langston Hughes, Ruby Dee, Hazel Dukes, Eubie Blake, Bayard Rustin, Adam Clayton Powell Jr.

Harlem spirituals and literature were written in the late 1800s. The poetry, literature, speeches and songs of Harlem’s Renaissance were created from 1918 to 1937, introducing the rich culture of African Americans that has continued to grow and is a part of American History.
