A Warhol Stroll

With Matt Postal

This walking tour focuses on the Upper East Side, where Andy Warhol almost always lived, often worked, and frequently exhibited. Led by art (and architectural) historian Matt Postal, we’ll “visit” buildings that were important in this celebrated pop artist’s career, including a modest brick 19th century firehouse that served as his first studio, the 1901 townhouse where his first solo exhibition was held, as well as residences that he shared with his mother Julia and interior designer Jed Johnson.

All tours are Eastern Time and last approximately 60 to 90 minutes.
