Alexander Hamilton and Revolutionary New York

Janes Walk

Led By Matthew Whitenack, GothamGuru

This 45-minute virtual tour via zoom brings to life NYC during the Revolutionary period and Alexander Hamilton’s role in it. We visit historical sites in the city (Fraunces Tavern, Federal Hall, Hamilton’s home, etc.) and discuss the fateful duel with Aaron Burr. As an added bonus, the tour is layered with references to the iconic “Hamilton” the Broadway musical as we point out lyrics and scenes that correspond to the sites we visit.
