Along the Banks of the East River, Part 1

With Bob Singleton

New York’s East River isn’t even really a river (it’s a tidal estuary) but along its banks lie some of New York’s most storied real estate. With a collection of historic and current images, Bob Singleton will take us on a virtual journey along the East River, without the choppy current and no wind to mess up your hair. Part 1 will start at Long Island Sound near Fort Totten and continue to Long Island City, and Part 2 (next week) will start at Newtown Creek and end at New York Harbor.

All tours are Eastern Time. Registration is now closed.
