Artistically Speaking: From Gramercy to Greenwich Village

With Matt Postal

This tour with Matt Postal focuses on artist’s clubs, their studios and residences — not around Washington Square but in Gramercy Park, Union Square and the most northern blocks of Greenwich Village. En route, we’ll view the original home of the Century Association (now a television studio), where many Hudson River School artists gathered, as well as structures associated with members of the Ashcan School. Several sites have strong associations with trailblazing women, including Elsie de Wolfe, Isabel Bishop, and the former home of the Pen & Brush Club.

All tours are Eastern Time Zone. Registration is now closed.
