Broadway Walk Through History

Janes WalkIn Person

Led By Dr. Jacques Behar

We will start where Broadway starts and enjoy learning about each building location. There is Manhattan’s original shoreline, there is NYC’s first love story, look at a marked grave with no remains inside, touch a object virtually unchanged since 1772. It’s all part of this exciting walk as we time travel through history. Children as well will get an exciting walk while learning some of the interesting things about Broadway—the longest street in the world ! ( we’ll only walk to Chambers Street- why is it called that ? )

Accessibility
Most bus lines and all subway lines wind up at or near the start location.
