This walk will explore the connections with Green-Wood Cemetery to Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War. While touring the beautiful rural cemetery founded in 1838, well see the cemetery’s Civil War monument as well as graves of people to played various roles in the Civil War, including a campaign manager for Lincoln, Lincoln’s telegrapher, a woman who held the mortally wounded Lincoln in her arms, a commander of US army forces during the war, and soldiers on both sides.

Tour will be on paved paths but will involve rugged terrain.
