This will be an in-person tour covering a little over a mile straight up Central Park West beginning at Columbus Circle and ending at The Beresford at 81st Street. We will concentrate on the architecture and the stories behind the buildings along the way and also bring in some discussion of Central Park, including its history and its impact on the neighborhood and the development of the Upper West Side.
Accessibility
This walk will be a little more than a mile but the terrain is completely flat. We will be walking along the eastern side of Central Park West and I'm pretty sure there are sidewalk cuts all along the way to accommodate wheelchairs.
