[Virtual tour] For MAS tour guide and art historian Sylvia Laudien-Meo, touring the art galleries of New York City has always been one of the biggest MAS tour highlights. It is so intriguing to see the most recent work by leading international artists in a small space and united before they get dispersed into different collections. Some art dealers put together themed group shows, sometimes including even loan works from museum collections to establish context. Many contemporary artists react in their work to the turbulences of the past year and a half. Meanwhile Hauser & Wirth presents works by Philip Guston from the 70s, which can now be viewed with a sense of renewed urgency.
