Janes Walk

Led By Village Preservation

Village Preservation’s Civil Rights and Social Justice Map illuminates the Greenwich Village, East Village, and NoHo sites that have made significant contributions to civil rights and social justice struggles. Here you’ll find well-known landmarks like the Stonewall Inn and Judson Memorial Church, former sites of some of our city’s first African American and abolitionist churches, and homes of the ACLU, Young Lords, NAACP, and more.
