Canceled: Clinton Hill, From Beginning to End

One Special Street in Brooklyn

With Suzanne Spellen & Morgan Munsey

Please note — In response to concerns about coronavirus, the Municipal Art Society has made the difficult decision to cancel this tour.

Every neighborhood has streets that help define it. The most interesting neighborhoods have many such streets, some purely residential, sometimes commercial, and often a mixture of both. Clinton Hill is no exception, with a multitude of great streets to choose from. We’ve chosen one that our other Clinton Hill tour does not cover, in order to share more of this landmarked neighborhood’s architecture and history with you. This tour showcases multiple architectural styles, including some of the neighborhood’s best and most inventive examples of rowhouse architecture, almost 200 years of history, and stories about fascinating people that span the past and present.
