From George W to Malcolm X: Historic Washington Heights

This medium-paced but generally downhill walk of the naturally highest topographic neighborhood in Manhattan will be led by a long-time neighborhood resident and licensed NYC tour guide. The 8-9 sites to be covered include the site of the Battle of Fort Washington, locations used in the film In The Heights, the United Palace theater, the Highbridge, Morris-Jumel Mansion and the Audubon Ballroom.

Accessibility
Mostly flat, downhill on city streets, approximately 3 miles, with 8-9 brief stops along the way. Walk should last approximately 2.5 hours.
