We will bike from Shoelace Park to Soundview Park and explore how NYC Parks and The Bronx River Alliance steward their gardens.

Join the Urban Park Rangers for a guided bike tour along the gardens of the Bronx River Greenway. Traveling from Shoelace Park to Soundview Park, participants will explore how NYC Parks, the Bronx River Alliance, and local volunteers steward green spaces and help make the greenway more vibrant and resilient.This tour highlights the “how” and “why” behind caring for urban park landscapes, with stops showcasing a range of ecological features and community-led efforts. Proposed stops include green infrastructure in Shoelace Park, the dog run or forested areas of the Bronx River Forest, gardens at Ranaqua (Bronx Parks Headquarters), Bronx River Community Garden, Drew Gardens, Bronx River House, The Foodway at Conc
