This Storymap, created by Village Preservation to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Greenwich Village Historic District, showcases images of every one of the 2,200 buildings in the Greenwich Village Historic District, prior to designation in 1969 and 50 years later in 2019. This site also includes self-guided tours of the district’s history, architecture, artists, theaters, houses of worship, and much more.
