Harlem River Bridge Walk

Janes Walk

Led By Jason Stein

We’re going to cross bridges between Manhattan and The Bronx!
We’re going to explore a few of the Harlem River Bridges and see
how things are connected and have amazing views of the Harlem River.
Starting from the Third Avenue bridge then back over the Madison Avenue Bridge
to the 145th Street Bridge and finally zig and zag over the Macombs Dam Bridge.

Along the way we’ll explore specific points of interest from one bridge to another
including a park which used to be an industrial site to Yankee Stadium and the former Polo grounds.

We’ll definitely get a different perspective and explore some of the history of the Harlem River.

Accessibility

We'll be crossing bridges and streets with pedestrian onramps, steps and inclines. From 128th Street to 157th Street which doesn't include crossing four bridges to reach our final destination. Maybe around two miles, maybe a little more.

Location Information

RSVP is required and capacity is limited. Meeting location, ending location, and directions will be provided via email before walk date.
