A walk through one of New York City’s newer ethnic enclaves: the Bukharan Jewish community, which hails from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. We will stop at one place that specializes in bread and meat pies, a grocery store, and a bakery.
About a mile of walking, but can be a bit hilly as you go from Queens Blvd. to 108th Street.
RSVP is required and capacity is limited. Meeting location, ending location, and directions will be provided via email before walk date.
