Janes Walk

Led By Patrick Meagher AND Shelley Gitelson, Lexarc.org

From 4th street and Bowery to Great Jones and Bond, a local neighborhood stroll starts with the downtown theatre row (supported by The J.M. Kaplan Fund); the former buildings owned and lived in by Basquiat, Warhol, Rauschenberg, Twombly, Chuck Close and Jasper Johns; and current galleries La MaMa, Eva Presenhuber, Eric Firestone; and the new Venus Over Manhattan. If you’d like, wrap up with cookies and coffee at Levain on Lafayette.
