Leadership on the Landscape: Walking in the Footsteps of Robert Moses

Janes Walk

Led By Cristel de Rouvray

This self-guided walking tour follows the physical imprint of Robert Moses across upper Manhattan — starting at the New York Historical Society (to visit the short permanent exhibit on Robert Caro) to a view of the Cross Bronx expressway that tore a neighborhood apart, to a walk through Inwood Hill Park, the wild forest that survived his vision of “improvement.”

Wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring water and snacks. Headphones recommended for audio content.
