The Hunters Point Parks Conservancy has created a series of LIC History Through Maps events led by local amateur historian Andrew Kapochunas. These events will be pre-recorded and posted to Facebook. The first chapter of the series, Before Europeans came to Long Island City, is available here for Jane’s Walk 2021. Subsequent follow-up videos will be released after the festival.
