A virtual zoom workshop where 3×3 facilitators will guide the participants to digitally explore Far Rockaway through a curated google map of the residents and small business owners talking about their neighborhood. The workshop will help community advocates unpack the visible and invisible signals that inform their perception of safety in a neighborhood and reflect on the underlying biases.
Accessibility
Our virtual workshop on Zoom would be accompanied with a Mural Board with prompts to visually guide people. We can provide two group breakouts in English and Spanish. If requested by participants, we can also prepare in advance to provide closed captioning.
