Janes Walk

Led By Grace Tellez-Cardona, NYPL Morris Park

Explore our city with a curated librarian-led walking tour!

Join branch staff from Morris Park Library and local historians, (Nick Dibrino,  Rick Vitacco  and  Tom Vasti), for an in-person walking tour! Learn more about the history and landmarks of this neighborhood and connect with community.

In this walking tour, we’ll begin by exploring Bronxdale Avenue starting at the entrance of the old Morris Park Racecourse then proceed toward Williamsbridge Road to discuss the architecture and history of the Morris Park community, including the Laconia Hotel. The tour will last approximately 1.5 hours and begins at our neighborhood library.
