New York’s Waterfront Parks

With Sylvia Laudien-Meo

During the past 20+ years the NYC waterfront has changed drastically and now offers many fantastic parks for us to enjoy the outdoors as well as amazing views of the city – the perfect places to explore as we ease our way out of social distancing! The disappearing industries which had claimed these prime territories are part of our history and thankfully many of the old buildings remain: the Domino Sugar Factory, the Cotton warehouses in Red Hook, Dumbo’s coffee houses, even the military buildings on Governor’s Island…but they are integrated into newly designed developments, where you can find great food, arts, sports facilities and more. We’ll visit a variety of places in the NY area to give you great options for the upcoming summer months, all conveniently accessible by ferry!

All tours are Eastern Time and last approximately 60 to 90 minutes.
