Old Gods of Manhattan

Janes Walk

SOLD OUT, WAITLIST OPEN

Led By Dan Flag, Sidewalk Alchemy

New York claims to be a rationalist city of the future, so why are there old gods everywhere?

Do these monuments simply offer familiarity, stability, and continuity to a city full of strangers?

Or is there something deeper at play?

Join us for a short walk in and around some of the city’s most iconic buildings, seeking to answer the question: why are these idols actually here?

You’ll have a chance to share your thoughts. This is a conversation as much as a tour.

We know you don’t want to go to 42nd Street on a Saturday, but this time it’ll be worth it. It might just change how you see these buildings, midtown, and New York.
