Led By Henna Wang AND Michael Reynolds, Co-founder of Gesso
Our GPS-triggered audio guides you across undulating meadows, into the ravine, and around Beaux-Arts structures. Made by Brooklynites, this is our sonic love letter to the park. Your movements trigger audio stories to play along the path. Enjoy and reconnect with nature, with a dose of history and mindfulness. You will need to download the Gesso app to experience this audio walk. Share your adventures with #JanesWalkNYC and tag @gesso.app!
This audio walk is approximately 1.4 miles and 2800 steps. We also offer text-based transcripts that accompany each audio story. Our paths go through open public spaces, so the routes are wheelchair accessible. You'll mostly be navigating sidewalks and other pedestrian paths. 15 St - Prospect Park Station is near the start point of the audio walk.
RSVP is required and capacity is limited. Meeting location, ending location, and directions will be provided via email before walk date.
