Queens Neighborhood History

With Linda Fisher

This virtual presentation will reveal that diversity in Queens began with its founding and the self-determining spirit of all its people has led to it becoming “The World’s Borough.” Part I covers 1625-1898, from Matouwacs, the native name for Long Island, to Battle-Axe, the last Mayor of Queens before Consolidation.

All tours are Eastern Time. Registration is now closed.
