“The city seen from the Queensboro Bridge is always the city seen for the first time, in its first wild promise of all the mystery and beauty of the world.” – F.Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby…The Queensboro Bridge, a steel giant connecting two boroughs – and islands – of New York City, has long been a source of inspiration for artists, songwriters, dreamers. We will “walk” the bridge with Greater Astoria Historical Society executive director Bob Singleton.
