Enjoy a self-guided tour of the grounds of the U.S. Lighthouse Service Depot, and visit the National Lighthouse Museum located on the site. Learn about the depot history and be amazed by the vintage surviving structures. Understand the museum’s role in preserving the legacy of our maritime sentinels.

Starting at 1pm on Saturday, May 8 and Sunday, May 9, the Museum will be offering free admission to anyone who mentions that they are celebrating the Jane’s Walk NYC festival at check-in.

Accessibility

Our site in wheelchair accessible and parking is immediately available in front of the museum. Located just a 5 minute walk from the Staten Island Ferry (approximately 1/4 mile distance). Designated signs in the Ferry Terminal point out the way to the museum. The following MTA Bus routes are accessible at the Terminal s40, s42, s44, s46, s48, s51, s52, s61, s62, s66, s74, s76, and s78.
