This walk will explore a collection of innovative dwellings from the late 19th century that are the brainchild of philanthropist Alfred Treadway White. Your hosts will be an architect and current residents. Attendees will learn about the unique design of the dwellings and the changing history of their waterfront neighborhood.
Accessibility
Walk is approximately 1.25 miles on NYC sidewalks along low traffic local streets. Walk is family friendly and will include activity kits for younger participants. Start point of walk is near the Carroll Street station on the F and G subway lines. End point is near multiple subway lines at Borough Hall.
