‘Twenty minutes in Manhattan’ a Tribute to Michael Sorkin

Janes Walk

SOLD OUT

Led By Yalda Keramati, Architect, AIA

The walk is based on ‘Twenty Minutes in Manhattan’ by the influential architect and urban planner, Michael Sorkin. He describes the book as a summary of his thoughts about the city over the years. This is a slow and interactive walk. By the end of the walk, I hope we can create a sense of community, share knowledge, learn about Michael Sorkin and the city through his work. We will start from his Greenwich Village apartment (near Gay Street and Waverly Place) and walk to his Tribeca office.

Accessibility

This is a slow walk and close to public transit. I will review the accessibility in details, once I develop the exact route.
