Women Sculptors in New York City

With Sylvia Laudien-Meo

While New York has very few public sculptures honoring real life women, many of our sculptures have actually been created by women. Many of these artists came from very wealthy families, some lived in Rome, several were involved in the World’s Fairs. Their works celebrate soldiers, mothers, animals, and exceptional women like Eleanor Roosevelt. A virtual tour allows us to go on this journey all over New York City and explore them all!

All tours are Eastern Time Zone. Registration is now closed.
