Take a leisurely little trot through the streets of downtown Tottenville in the company of friendly local library staff!

Join branch staff from historic Tottenville Public Library for an in person walking tour of Tottenville: The Town the Oyster Built! Learn more about the history, landmarks, environment, and community of this charming seaside neighborhood.

We’ll take a walk from the historic landmark Tottenville Public Library, around the heart of town, down Main Street, to the Compass House and the original Totten Dock area.​ The tour will last approximately 1 hour and will begin at our neighborhood library.

The tour will last approximately 1 hour and will begin at Tottenville Public Library (7430 Amboy Rd.) The library is fully accessible to wheelchairs.
