An Early Look at The QueensWay: New York City’s Next Great Park

Janes Walk

Led By Ruben Ramales, THE TRUST FOR PUBLIC LAND AND FRIENDS OF THE QUEENSWAY, Friends of the QueensWay

Join guides from the Friends of the QueensWay, for a 2.5 mile walk alongside the northern section of this proposed “cultural greenway” that will transform a long abandoned rail line running from Rego Park south to Ozone Park. This tour will start in Forest Hills and end in Forest Park, with brief walks on the rail bed (wear long pants, and hiking or walking shoes), but much of it will be on adjoining city streets.

Location Information

RSVP is required and capacity is limited. Meeting location, ending location, and directions will be provided via email before walk date.
