Art & Architecture of Hudson Yards

After watching Hudson Yards rise up during the past 7 years and reshape Manhattan’s skyline, the complex’s first section finally opened officially this spring. We will explore the story of its development, its architecture, public spaces and landscaping, with a special focus on public art, especially the already famous ‘Vessel’ designed by Thomas Heatherwick, but also the Highline art and the MTA’s mosaic by Xenobia Bailey.
