“Step aboard” for a ride through the museum beneath the streets of Greenwich Village, the East Village, & NoHo! Tour guide Phil Desiere of Walk About New York will take us through the diverse array of artwork in nine different subway stations. From art commissioned by the MTA, to original art from the subway’s opening in 1904, we will learn about the artistic process, the artists, and the rich history of our neighborhoods that they represent.
