The West 111th Street Block Association has developed a walking tour of our street, between Riverside Drive and Amsterdam Avenue. This two-block stretch of Morningside Heights offers insights on the area’s history and culture. By highlighting the role of a forgotten pathway that branched off the Bloomingdale Road at 111th Street, we explore the connections and divisions that have defined our neighborhood for centuries.
