Boaters, Batters, and Boxers: A Sporting Visit to Green-Wood Cemetery

Virtually walk through Green-Wood Cemetery past the graves of some of the most important figures of early American sports, including three men called the “father of baseball” and two with baseballs carved on their gravestone. Also a champion boxer, a pioneer w golfer, a horseracing giant, a ship captain who started a 132-year winning streak, and players who ended an 89-game streak.
