Building a Resilient Park: The Sustainability of Brooklyn Bridge Park

Janes Walk

Led By David Lowin, Brooklyn Bridge Park, Executive Vice President

Take a tour of the Brooklyn Bridge Park Piers and learn how this formerly industrial waterfront site was reimagined to be the world class park it is today. This tour will discuss how the Park came to be, and how it’s designed to be both environmentally and financially sustainable. We will look at the recently opened Pier 3 and a site still under construction. Come see BBP up close and learn how this public space is designed unlike any before.
