Join us to celebrate Jane's birthday and kick-off the festival!

Join us on Wednesday, May 4th from 6-7 PM on Instagram Live to celebrate Jane’s birthday (May 4th, 1916). and kick-off the 2022 Jane’s Walk NYC Festival! Members of the Jane’s Walk NYC Team will read excerpts from some of our favorite Jane Jacobs essays, interviews, and books. Plus, performers from Peculiar Works Project will perform an excerpt from Janes Return, their walk featured in this year’s festival!

The legacy of Jane Jacobs lives on in our vibrant, ever-changing city, inspiring New Yorkers during the festival weekend, and beyond. Come celebrate Jane through this virtual event!
