Central Park: Marvels of the Northern Half

Janes Walk

Led By Laurie Lewis and Alan Cohen

The northern part of Central Park has some of New York’s greatest landscapes and an interesting history. View the changing cityscape as you walk along the Reservoir. Leave the city behind when you visit the tranquil Pool and enjoy a hike in the recently restored North Woods. Go back in time to the site of early American military fortifications. End at Conservatory Garden, ablaze with spring blooms. Moderate pace; some stairs.
